Default Emotionally attached to your bike?

Traded in my wonderful sv650s today. Gave him [billy blue] a final hug and thanks for the wonderful rides!
Was feeling okay until I handed over my keys to the dealer, and promptly burst into tears! Felt such a fool until the salesguy said it wasn't unusual to see grown men bubble when they sold their bikes!
Perhaps it's because he was my first 'big bike', or maybe I'm just a big woose?
So. what I want to know is..........anyone emotionally attatched to their bike?

i would say i am, when it wasn't ridable for a week due to battery problems and me having no money i was upset and angry, having to get the bus and lifts from parents, i was like a young kid in a sweet shop being told he couldn't have any.

i think its more of a freedom thing for me though rather than being attached to this specific bike.

Sv was killing my neck on long journeys. Needed an upright bike.
Looked at a few 'middleweight' bikes..... the hornet, bandit 600, fazer, triumph street triple, but tbh the er6f won hands down.

er6f is a good lookign bike, dont know how the performance will compare though.

Personally, I'm not attached to my bike, despite it being a first bike. I way become so as time goes on but all I seem to have done is fix it since I bought it.

Edit: Just noticed you tried a street triple. ER6 really better than that? I'm surprised.
