When I had a spell of internet dating when I was 41, I always searched for women between 30 and 45. I wouldn't start a relationship with anyone who wasn't mature enough, but casual s*x is different.

It doesn't take variables, but it does pretty much give rough ages of what's deemed acceptable by society.

An 18 year old having sexual relations with a 14 year old would be pretty wrong IMO (not to mention illegal). A couple of years time when she is 16 and the guy is 20, fair enough.

This is all hypothetical and I don't know who we're talking about though

my views are the exact same,

but at the end of the day each person lives there own lives who are we to judge. so aslong as everyones happy let them get on with it.

All depends on maturity. I didn't really have girlfriends through school, all the people my age and older I considered immature idiots. Then I met Izi, she's a year younger than me, but not immature and stupid like most of the other 17 year olds I knew of.

My sister on the other hand is 17 (i think) and has a girlfriend who is 21. Doesn't bother me, makes me chuckle, the only thing I have in common with her, apart from parents, is the fact that we both have girlfriends

What constitutes as sexual relations?

Kissing? Or more?

Tbh, legally, they should be allowed to hug and hold hands. If a 45y/o could go to prison for kissing a 14y/o than what makes the difference between an 18y/o doing the same? I am talking legally of course.

My mrs's Dad wasn't too happy about me being with his daughter (especially because I ride a motorbike, and they're the root of all evil). Because of the distance between us, we stayed over right from the beginning. I had to have a word with him in the end, because he was making her feel bad and ****ing me off. Her mum on the other hand was fine about us, she could see we're both mature, and she's like a mother to me now too.
So I guess it depends on the maturity of the two people involved, and the ability of their parents to notice it, or notice the lack of it, and not act out of hand.

I dated Claire for 5 years. At the start i was 26, she was 17. She was mature 17 year old. at the time it was fine.

There is 5 years between Verna and me i dont even think about it. Its like all things, it depends on the person/people and when you date. A 24 year old going out with a 14 year old is abviously a no no, but 18 and a 28 year old is fine.
