If you look where the top of the engine's V's are you can tell that with the air box off you can get to them. I think you'd be happy changing plugs.

I saw one in the flesh a while ago and was left wandering what all the fuss is about... I'm sure its great to ride, but I cant get over the intense dislike I have for the styling...

I like the styling personally but that exhaust looks like my grandads old hearing aid

I've spoken to a couple of people who have ridden them and they claim they are quite roomy when on the bike, but with very little in the way of fairing protection (which makes them look so small), so if you're tall/big and enjoy fast tracks be prepared to hold on a lot!

The V4 isnt rotax as far as I know its aprilias built in the piaggio factory,

Im sure servicing them is a bitch but as it will be more likely yearly than than milleage services required I doubt its a problem lol.

I think bikes in general are getting harder to work on aren't they?

They may have been misleading (or misled), but the commentators on Eurosport's BSB coverage said that to swap the plugs on Ellison's R1 they had to drop the engine out.

Anyhoo, the RSV4 is quite nice.

Some harder, some easier. The early K GSXRs, despite being EFI (spit) are actually not bad to work on.

All very nice but after seeing it I would be like a gorilla on a monkey bike. Like a stood on cbr125.

I wanna know where the 90deg 1200 Vtwin is? That will/would be a proper road bike engine.

Saw one today. Sooo much nicer with the the Akrapovic system on to look at. It was going the other way as I was pulled over, from the small sound bite it sounded a lot like an RSV tbh

Its a bit disappointing that they are planning on going for a 90* V... its too mainstream, besides Ducati do that. They should just do some work with the V990 motor. I know people have bored them out to 1100 and they produce WAY more torque than a 1198! And similar top end. mental machines.

15 grand isn't really that much when you consider that a new R1 costs 11 grand and that only *pretends* to be a V4.

I'm tempted to chop the thou in for the non-Factory version when it comes out in the winter. Very tempted.
