Mmm, I guess this forum could get pretty quiet pretty fast if we never discussed things that have been discussed before. I know we have a search function but it only takes a few milliseconds before people get fed up looking and decide to ask.

Without the valued posters I guess its down to us numpties with no experience or knowledge to post up some garbage instead

As i am a newish member i have read posts by people that have got hitler all over them but i wouldnt of seached on the Topic and just clicked to see what it was and ended up having an intresting read .

so mabe new members might not be seaching for breakin type posts but clicked on this one and ended up having a good read too.

I like these kind of discussions, and for new people they offer a chance to learn about engines and consider some of the stresses various engine components are exposed to. I always feel that the more you understand about an engine, the more likley you are to take care of it and also be able to investigate and diagnose problems, hopefully before they become much more severe
