On the K4 there is not a flashing phase. It just goes straight to solid, though presumably at the point where other versions start to flash.

I tend to get between 110 and 140 to the light depending on the type of use. More often than not it's towards the bottom end of that though.

If you only do short journeys, and ride it hard, then that's not that low.

I would of thought you'd get a little better than this although most of it is down to riding style. I got 90 miles from a tank on a trackday don't think it ever dropped below 7500rpm all day. are your brimming it right to the top?

Curvy always flashed then went solid (IIRC) so far only ever had the pointy to go solid assume it's the first/only indication you get.

Fuel indicator on mine ( K6 ) goes from slow on/off then faster then full on. At full on it's time to get more petrol quickly. I average around the 135 miles on a full tank.

I do mostly short journies. Most common one is maybe 4 miles there and back? Counting traffic lights... 7 sets on the way there, 2 roundabouts and one mini one. On the way back, i stop 16 times (if i counted right). 26 stop and starts on a 4 mile journey and i get really high mpg for a big-ish guy. Kinda slow speeds i guess, between 20 and 50. If your MPG is around 100 i think you should take a look at some fuel saving tips because any bike should delivery economy + fun no matter what your size. Tyre pressures, idle speed (is that right?), engine braking, gear selection etc.

I'm authority on absolutely nothing but it's wrong to see bikers suffering with their ranges. :'(
