I'm going to Portsmouth tomorrow to meet Mike Perham and to explore his boat. Sunday - nothing.

This weekend I am Chief Marshal at our club Hare and Hounds enduro. See www.wgdfmcc.org.uk and click the link for the Chicken Run.

Its a cracking event, both to ride in and to spectate. It all kicks off at 11am on Sunday and, weather permitting will run for 3 hours. If anyone is in the area why not pop down and watch? There is no entry fee for spectators and there will be a burger van on site.

If I get the train - the 05.40 from Shrewsbury to Newport (south Wales) change there for a train to Portsmouth Harbour, arrives 10.53 - or 5 hours 13 mins, of which change at Newport is about 10 mins, cost £24.50 one way.

It will take me 3.5 hours down the M40/A34/M3/M275. About the same in fuel.
