Can I be on the stunt team?

I have just started wheelie-ing the SV1000 - went to 16t front sprocket and it doesn't need much provocation in first gear - not had any success clutching it up yet but I am keen to learn - too far from you though

alright dude, when i was first learning to get the front up on power only, EVERYONE told me to stop and learn to clutch it up! i found out why the hard way! when you bring it up on power, by the time the bikes up youre going too fast and running out of revs! and it comes up real quick!
all you gotta do is get the bike rolling as slow as you can with your feet on pegs, pull the clutch in so it starts slipping, let the revs climb and then in one smooth motion release the clutch, start at about 6000rpm and you WONT loop it. never cut the throttle to bring it down, especially on the sv.too much engine breaking, just pull the clutch back in! never release the throttle to bring it down! if you can start covering your back break too! and you wont go too high.

btw im defo no expert, but if someone had explained that to me id be the nuts already!

The 1000 needs no revs at all to bring the front up - 4000rpm and a slight crack of the throttle has the front in the air - without the clutch I couldn't imagine a 650 doing that.

I need to practise - might as well as the chain is fairly worn!

Cheers for the tips

The 650 hundred percent does I have the skidmarks and amused witnesses to prove it.

Front sprocket was really badly hooked so for the sake of a tenner I swapped from a 17t to a 16t just to see what it was like - lairy is the answer!
