Default God i hate crashing and forks

All know crashing sucks but i did the stupid thing of guessing what was broken and have now run out of repair funds, take the bike apart and ofc i have more problems than i thought and the main bit ****ing me off is the forks are slightly bent, anyone know if it is worth having them straightened or to get some 2nd hand ones to replace it, does straightening it weaken it or ahything?

How bent are they? If there is a visible crease you are pretty buggered. Try motoliner.

Doesn't help that you don't put any details about your bike in your sig. Not that makes any difference in this case. There are several different blues, reds, and yellows in the curvy range.

I'd not fancy having straightened forks under me personally.

If it is straightenable you would not notice in use. The risk is fatigue leading to rapid failure later down the line, but they will only straighten a very small bend out.

I did the same ...well forks went.

Was advised under someone i trust very much who happens to fix bikes your better off getting new stations. once bent metal has a weakness and you never know how long they will last.

I know its not helpfull but i remember looking at new stations seals and oil for around £180 delivered but if only i could remember where.

[Edit] it was a bundle all the stuff, so all ready to just plonk in.
