Right - lets get this back on track.

Set off from Southampton at about 12 on Friday - weather was chucking it down so stuck to motorway as far as Shrewsbury, then took the A5. Stuck the satnav on with music on a SD card to try and relieve the boredom. Stopped for coffeee and fuel on the way, and arrived at about 7pm. Last few miles were in to driving rain, over some quite hairy roads so was glad to arrive at the hotel.

Saturday morning at the hotel next to Snowdon:-



Forecast said sunshine, Snowdon however said rain

Don't think this hill was Snowdon itself, as that was covered in cloud:-



Sat in our room, on the third floor at the back of the hotel I could hear this deep rumble. No, not the beans from breakfast kicking in, it was the Quiffsters arriving, shortly followed by Luckypants and Speedy Claire.



Have to say, those Staintune pipes sound bloody lovely, especially after Quiff did a flypast later at speed

Luckypants led us out on some great roads. We stopped at one point to walk down to the river - it was a bit further than we thought but worth it once we got there.
