sorry dave could not make it, didn't even know till too late, but probobly will never be able to make it for your birthday as it is our wedding anniversary today, he sais sipping a 12yr old glenfiddich, happy birthday mate.

Well I survived.
a bit of a lightweight affair as I had to slope off for the last bus. I did ask a taxi how much. £11. stuff that. walked the route until I knew the last bus was due and a whopping £2.80. I know it been a while since I last caught a bus, but god inflation must have been rife over the last 30 years.
