i dont think he was a fake, why go to that much effort.
He was local to me and said he went down poole quay a few times.
every time he spoke he seemed fairly genuine and he also really knew his stuff when it came to the SV

It saddens you that greatly, that some people have an over-active imagination or like to express themselves in different ways? The only people that seem really upset about the possibility of DD being a fake / troll / whatever are people with links to the forces. Someone pretending to be part of any sort of forces does not in any way detract from the work that the real men and women doing those jobs do.

Perhaps not, it's still a sad day when this kind of thing becomes acceptable and 'meh' worthy. I too used to be in the forces, perhaps why I find it so hard to believe that someone would do this.

Perhaps I have too much faith in people already and should expect everyone to be something they are not?

Anyway, I'm saying no more on the subject until we have proof either way.

i went to school with a couple of kids who dads were and still are in the SBS, i have a mate in RM Officer Training whos dads in the SBS and my GFs best mates Dad is in the SBS, i could ask questions but its a bit much if he really is gone dont you think.

there were a few things that he said about working with my lot he got 100% wrong and should have known if was actually serving SBS or ex SBS

that's it i have asked around an a big NO came back for any SF or SBS KIA at the time stated.

and a few PM's from other peeps on here in the know have confirmed to me that it was BS of the highest order.
