Find it hard to understand why anybody would do what DD (allegedly) has though. Don't get what they get out of it! Especially as he appeared to be quite popular, maybe that was the problem and why the character needed to be killed off.

Re GG saying he was ex... I thought (the story went) that he was out of service injured for a while (and that is wha you are thinking of) but more recently was passed fit again (as Neio pointed out he said he passed selection again which was the wrong thing to say) and the story went that he was currently in active service.

Re the possibility of him being real & his family reading this whole thread, I don't think there's anything in it that is disrespectful in anyway. It just shows that a lot of people cared a lot about who they thought was DangeousDave and there are now some anomalies that tend to suggest that he was nothing but a lying b'stard that we would like cleared up, but they are probably jus a result of the secrecy surrounding the SBS which Dave didn't like to talk about

Many of you will know that the forum software logs IP address that posts were / are made from. This information is accesable to me. I did some rough searching last night. I have done a bit more this evening. As a caveat I will say that I may have misinterpreted the results. Networking is not my field of expertise I understand the basics, but routers, IP tables etc etc is not what I do. There are many on here that do so perhaps you can do your own research and draw your own conclusions. This is all logged in the forum I have not made this up. It is important that you understand it. I have nothing to gain by fibbing about this.

I started with looking up the IP address for Becks

Her user profile shows as posting from this IP

86.166.72.6

So if I do a search to show me what other users have used this IP I get back

Dangerous Dave
Becks
Geoffrey

Now we know allegedly that Dangerous Dave & Becks were living together, now that means to me that they used the same computer. Which explains why the IP for the both of them will be the same. If I check my posts and Liz's posts, they'll show as coming from the same computer / IP address because quite often we do use the same computer. Also we both use the BT Home Hub wireless router. Which IIRC gets presented from BT one IP address and all our traffic goes through there.

Geoffrey is also showing as posting from there to, Which means either BT gave that IP address to his router. ( This is possible I think with DHCP ) Or that Geoffrey used the same computer as Becks and Dangerous Dave...

Becks account was regsitered via the same IP address
Dangerous Dave's account was registered via 86.137.244.239 no one else seems to be sharing that address
Geoffrey's account was registered from 86.162.35.128 which is showing as being shared with Dangerous Dave

Now this leads me to conclude that

Dangerous Dave, Becks & Geoffrey are the same person or have used the same computer to post from.

I think we have enough evidence now to prove that they are all linked, but it still doesnt prove who Dangerous Dave actually was / is.

There are a few members of the police force on here, can they not colate any info. I know its a long shot but there must be a date of the accident and rough location, and we know of one vehicle involved.

2/9/08 is the date of the off, according to our friend Geoffrey.
Interestingly, we haven't had any activity from him either since about three weeks before dave was 'KIA', and that was in the wheres dangerous dave thread that he resurrected after a couple of weeks of non activity.

Sorry but we wouldn't be in a position to do this. Would be more than our jobs are worth.
