Copper grease won't help if the damn Kwikfit fitters hadn't used their air impact wrench to do the nuts up.

Get one of them extending wheel wrench jobbies from Tesco, makes undoing most wheel nuts a bit easier.

I'd go round and undo them, then retighten to the manufactures spec.

Good story and you have outstanding paitence, I would have beheaded my wife

oops, poor Anne, perhaps you should get her a chauffeur to save any more tyres being knackered. i bet you wish you'd got shares in a tyre company,

The car goes back in March - lease expires - so she can't do that much more damage - surely.... £250 on tyres... you should have seen the tear in the sidewall - MBK you are right, it was a right clobbering.

Looking for a replacement motor. Anne wants another Merc. Personally, it's the fastest tractor I've ever driven. Expensive and overrated IMHO. I found a Skoda Octavia VRS for much much less £ but I don't think I'll be allowed to have it

Ed, I do lessons at reasonable rates for mates!

PM me for details.

First lesson usually starts with the trainee sitting in the passenger seat and STAYING THERE FOR GOOD!
