I'm with eBike - they beat all other quotes by miles every time I look around. The only problem is that they are online company and most communication is handled by email. They usually take about 24 hours to answer any query. You can call them if you like but be warned that they use a premium number. Emergency claim number though is free and operates 24/7. I've claimed with them once so far and they were not too bad. Until that is the claim turned out to be a write off and was passed to a different insurer who were appalling (although I'm told that they were not really that bad compared to the industry standard......).

Legal cover is free and breakdown cover is not too expensive either.

Give them a try mate

Adrian Flux - that was the one I was trying to remember, nice one!

MCE keep coming out tops with thebikeinsurer, but I'm going to give Bikesure a call tomorrow to see what they can do, cheers Stu.

Skippy, can't go with eBike as they messed me around 6 years ago and I'll never use them again

Cheers again for the suggestions guys, I'll try the others too and keep you posted.

£266 zx6r 2004 TPFT with breakdown through MCE but got the quote through MCN compare as through MCE direct it was £400+, if you get a quote for the next month ie we are in feb you get a quote for april you get a cheaper quote and it changes according to claims in your postcode like MK6 but MK6 is a huge area so it's not just your street.

Carol Nash weren't particularly great with the quote when I renewed last year. The excuse was with the credit crunch insurers were passing on their losses to customers. hmmmmm dunno about that, but most people I know didn't get a great deal last year with them either.

Hope this year at five years NCB that there will be a noticeable difference, but either way I wouldn't change from them as overall they do a great package.

MCE gave Peg a good quote on the ZZR, when he renewed recently, Carol Nash couldn't beat it.

Devitt and Motorcycle direct both tend to be worth a call. Not sure if Thamesbank are still going but they used to try and beat any quote as long as you took it up while they had you on the phone.

Good luck mate
