Saw this today in town!

yep wr250- fun to ride and great size for getting into the nooks and crannies that the mis guided youth of today are drawn to, i'm getting paid to do a job i love on a hobby i love. Plenty of grunt for its size to get up steps and quite agile suprisingly.

How long do they get kept in service for?

Wonder how cheap they are at the ex police vehicle sales/auctions...

Good question mate and i don't know the answer-they get serviced every 500 miles though-i done just under 50 miles today( mixure of road and offroad), so very frequent.

lol the one a saw needed a wash and the copper riding it had an SV now got a Street Triple. Sorry never caught his name.

must have been lenny boys bike, five of us were out today scooting about the city, the bikes had been washed that morning and were spick and span but within 5mins they get minging.Surprising thing today was the amount of other bikers nodding away at us, which was returned back

I always nod the Polis bikers, and always get one back!

Noticed more and more "regular joe's" not returning the old nod/wave recently

Me too and funnily enough when im out on my DRZ 1% nod back as opposed to 70%+ on my trumpet.

I gave two plods the wave last Sat and got a waves back. Was on the A82 heading North

I always nod at the police...rarely get one back. Must be met or kent.

I'll keep an eye out, see if any come up for sale in the ex police stuff.
