Yep, it's crap. I've only been over it once this year (on the way to Cadwell at 5.30am ), but it's a means of getting into the Peaks. Coming back over the Snake Pass I think and then Whaley Bridge, Kettleshulme road back to Macc.

And Orose is correct cameras still aren't running, but police will be up there anyway.

Its only 10mph slower than the national speed limit
My bro saw a div on a yellow Gixxer waiting for bikes coming down so he could show off his "talent" by overtaking them at speed.......... After overtaking, he gratiously lost control on a bend & dumped it into a wall right in front of my brother, that is the type of irresponsible penis they are trying to stop.

The moral of the story , don`t spend thousands on cameras and Helicopters when a good old fashioned Stone Wall will do the job for you

You missed the boat mate , I`d already left for work at 5:30 in the morning , worked til 12 , then left there and went for a lovely Sunny Sunday afternoon ride on me own as there were no takers when I offered . Police were out as usual and people warned me at the Pondy but I didn`t go anywhere near them and had a decent afternoons ride without too much traffic . Bike has an inch of flies on the front now and my Arai looks like an insect club .
