Yep I had a hell of a time with a woman I work with, I nearly handed my notice in over it. It blew out of control on 2 occasions and on the second one I walked out of work not intending to go back as I didn`t feel I was supported. I realised then that I was about to leave a job that I loved and that i`d been doing for a long time and I changed my way of thinking. I tried to stop seeing the negative qualities in her and looked for (and found) some positive. I gradually came to accept that she just worked a different way from me and I also realised that a lot of her problems stemmed from poor emotional intelligence, the latter made me more tolerant and supportive of her ideas if appropriate.

I learnt to changed my approach so that when I recognised that I was starting to get a bit annoyed i`d either walk away or mentally count to ten! I also found the courage to challenge her ideas if I felt it appropriate, I was always professional tho and I think she learnt to respect me for it and I started to gain some respect for her and now we can work quite amiably together.

Glad and surprised to see so many women basically admitting they are all psychotic troublemakers

That's the best thing about working from home, I don't have to deal with office politics.

Clairs' boss at work is horrible to some (she has been brilliant over Clairs' illness though i must add), bullies some of the other women a bit, not Clair, she loves her, Clair dont take sh1te from anybody at work, consultants or anyone.
They do it once but never again lol
People respect the fact that you are not a doormat and you will snap at them if they do snap at you.
Some of her colleagues need to grow a pair tbh and stand up for themselves.

Its true though, you put 20 blokes together, most will get on and probably socialise together outside of work, 20 women and 2-3 will get on and rest will bitch about the others.
Its a competitive thing with women, men dont care.

Women at work are ok, as long as they know when the blokes need a cup of tea and a biscuit, and also as long as they are fit and wear classy slightly revealing clothes.
