![]() I used to go alot years ago. There was a quality little club just outside of Yeovil, and I've been to Bristol a few times, a few years ago I noticed the atmosphere changing and it didnt feel the same and then the smaller clubs started shutting. Shame really. But its seems to me that its not what the majority of punters want anymore. Nothing wrong with a bit of musical diversity, just as long as I have my pipe and slippers and hot mug of cocoa with my guitar based dirge I'm a happy man ![]()

I think you need to get yourself up to Glasgow for a good night out, the arches or the sub club are pretty good for a proper dance music night out. proper dance music nothing too commercialised, can rock up wearing jeans and a tshirt and leave when your a big sweaty mess after throwing shapes for hours!
the main bar in the arches only serves water, red stripe or smirnoff ice! I think there's usually plenty of people walking about chewing the insides of their mouths! |

Go to a student night, you'll get students - local night, the older crowd.
Not sure about up North, but London's awlright. Ministry of Sound in elephant and castle - old school type no frills club. Just big rooms, big speakers, good tunes and no dress code really. Fabric in farringdon as well is good on a fri night, finished at around 6am, but that crowds a bit too drugged up my liking. We need more like this over here.

Not sure what kind of tunes you like but Air in Birmingham normally has some good nights on. It's home of Godskitshen but I am not sure if they do those much anymore.
Q Club is also good but not been there since they have re-opened it. Check this site out for club listings. http://www.dontstayin.com/uk/birmingham/ I wish I was born a few year earlier so I could have gone to the big Fantazia and Obsession raves, still listen to the tapes regularly. My bedroom walls were covered from floor to celieng in flyers, Dad binned them all when I moved out though ![]() The Sancutary in Milton Keynes used to be the place to go. Untill they furned it into an effin Ikea!!!
