Default New Continental Road Attack 2?

Over on the US Svrider.com site they are too thick to understand that I am just wondering about the opinions of people who may have tried the NEW continental Road Attack 2 tire...

I know they are not available in the USA or Canada yet that I can find but I hear they have been out for a while in Europe and Australia...

So, I am wondering if anyone has tried these new Road Attack 2 tires yet and what their impression was of them.

I really liked the originals so I am considering the Road Attack 2 series when my current tires need replacement...

Please no reviews or opinions of other tires... I really don't care about them at this point unless you were to compare them to the new Road Attack 2 tire and were reviewing the Conti...

Thanks

Thumbs up Re: New Continental Road Arrack 2

I have a set on my Triumph, I like them so far; 2000 miles wet and dry they have inspired confidence right from the start. My previous tyres were working well when replaced and not squared off so it's not a case of being on round tyres as opposed to square

Default Re: New Continental Road Attack 2

I did really like the original road attacks on my 99 SV650s I could see how they might start to square off a little with a lot of highway mileage though... I hear the new 2 series are better on the mileage...

How are they when it is cold and wet out?

I often ride when the temps are in the -5c to 5c range and the road attacks were pretty good... the pilot powers are ok but not nearly as good as the road attacks.... I've heard the new compound is even better in the wet

I've not ridden in that temperature range so can't comment but in the streaming wet of a Scottish summer they were good.
