Default Pinlok insert coming loose (XR-1100)

Hi all,

I'm on my second visor (got one changed after about 3 weeks of owning the lid).

It appears that the insert is not sticking to the visor as well and therefore starts misting up inside.

Is it something I'm doing?

I do remove the visor to put some Bob Heath anti-fog on the inside (it still mists some with the chin-skirt attached), but rarely actually remove the insert from the main visor. Was fine since early December?

Is it just the securing pins that are coming loose?

Anyone else had this?

Ta!

D

I've had it with my Xlite.

If you pop out the insert and turn one of the pins so the slightly fatter side is to the centre.
It should cure it.

Also make sure the pins haven't popped a little, as if they're like the Nolans/ xiltes they loosen over time

Yep, I was having the same problem with mine so I RTFM'ed, then rotated the pins, problem solved.
