Ok, another way of putting it. How about putting the following mnemonics on a billboard and walking through town:

I find some of the views on this thread pretty funny. I totally agree with the thrust of MiniMatt's posts.

I'm the last 'PC person' [1] alive on this planet but for a teacher, the bloke must have brains the size of peanut. What a fe_cking monkey...perhaps a closet c*** ?

I hate the PC brigade, but the bloke only got a reprimand for infering or saying a phrase with Rape in it to a class of 11 year olds. He should have taken his "slap on the wrist" and kept his head down instead of taking interviews and posing on his settee with his cuddly toy tiger. Teachers eh, quick to teach and slow to learn.

FFS, its not like the kids dont hear worse out in the play ground, too much resource put into pc this and that rather than support teachers to do the bloody hard job that it is.

seriously, there's politically correct and then there's plain appropriate. It's a bloody rediculous phrase to use in a school to teach kids. Totally fair in my view that he should have been advised against for future lessons, the press as usual blow it out of proportion.
