First week after passing my test, picked up the SV, was loving it, went to a jam with the old band i played in, pulled up on the SV, everyone watching me,......looking at me........went to the top of the unit we played at to turn around and come back to park up.......without thinking i grabbed a handful of front break whilst on full lock, and grit was on the road.......only one thing happened.........on the floor!!!
i couldn't believe it, i felt like such a tw@!!! |

Fell off a scooter in blockbuster car park at about 12 mph aged 16, some people came over to help me out and I jumped up and got off quick smart, assesed injuries at next set of traffic lights.
Fell off 125 on Weymouth sea front - again low speed - tram lines are slippy in the wet. fact that bike fell on top of me prevented quick getaway, several Cnuts in cars just drove round me. tried to jump a little river/ditch on a push bike in front of my mates, landed on my face. fell off my mates new scooter in a car park, going in a straight line, hard on the brakes on wet leaves. |

dropped the Sv doing a U turn on a hill in a car park.
Been knocked off by IP who leant over too far while on his bike! Put foot down pothole and carted myself off again in car park with loads of foreigner watching - thankfully nobody laughed and everyone helped me up! yeah we've all done it!! |

This is good team spirit. I do feel a little better and a little wiser now. Thank you all.

We've seen it before but it still makes me laugh every time I watch it...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ANelju9cbg On my Direct Access the other woman on the course overshot where she should have done her emegency stop, stalled alongside me and then dropped her bike on to me where I was pulled over at he side of the road. No way I could get out of her way in time and I had a massive bruise for the rest of the week. I passed but she failed when we took our test at the end of the week.

Rode into petrol station and decided to NOT put the sidestand down on my Honda VT125 - at all! God knows what i was thinking about.
As i wobbled and tried to hold the bike, I remembered that I had already traded it in for my SV so dare not risk damage, so I left my leg under the bike and gently lowered it! Only problem was i was now stuck under the bike and had to call a man in white van to lift bike off me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Had a couple of wobbles with SV but so far managed to hold it up. ![]()

I did exactly the same with my CBR125 ![]() On the way back from my Module 1 I was riding the schools CBF500, we stopped at a roundabout at rush hour, I put my foot down but there was no road underneath it and I ended up stuck under the bike. Had a lovely big bruise on my thigh for weeks after ![]() |

Massively cringe worthy one for me.
Go to do a some work with my old company (charity abseils) which i left after breaking up with my ex, who still works for them. So going back to old job for after years and seeing my ex - both pretty scary as you wanna show you have got somewhere in life and are, you know, kinda better off. I had to ride up to birmingham in the morning to do the abseil and as i pull up the whole team (including my ex and his new misses) are all stood outside..... theres me thinkin oh yeh i look quite cool, black bike black leathers black visor ![]() Went to stop and put my foot down annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd my leg had gone totally numb, collapsed underneath me and i ended up with bike on top of me having to ask for help ![]() ![]() All i could do was look up at them all pi$$ing themselves laughing at me and say "well... i look like a bit of a d1ck dont i" Had to do the rest of the abseil limping and feelin rather sheepish lol |
