Default Exhausts allowed at track days?

What is the rule with aftermarket exhausts at trackdays? Is there a DB limit to adhere to? I've just got a scorpion street extreme, I'm assuming that will be ok at least with the baffle in to meet noise regulations?

Depends on the track and the date as they have quiet days as well as noisey days.

Its runs from 98db (quiet day Donnington to 105db Anglesea).

Typically its 102 - 103db.

Its tested at 5500 revs on an SV650.

sv with a baffled road legal can should have been ok I would have thought. Inline 4's with track only exhausts are on the border line

can't remember exact numbers but my gsxr had a yoshi rs3 race can on it & even with the engine running hot as fook (108 on the temp display) it still registerred 105.8 at cadwell last year = the limit was 105 but the lady in the holding area was kind enough to let me through

My SV has a M4 Full System and was tested at 103db 5,500rpm, the limit being 105db for our event at Cadwell Park.

You should b fine at most places because normally they only want you to rev it to around half, but if you ever go castle combe they are a lot stricter and make you rev it to 3/4 which is really stupid

They are a lot stricter at Castle Combe, because some NIMBY residents who moved their long after the circuit was opened, started complaining about the noise. The circuit is under constant threat of being shut down.
