Nothing worse than being freezing - as a female (and not a particularly wimpy one), I hate being too warm in bed but at the AR last year, where it wasn't particularly cold, I had a £14 sleeping bag from Argos - NEVER AGAIN! I had to layer as much of my clothes as I could and I was still freezing.

I just went and spent £80 on a sleeping bag and after trialling it, I would echo the "get the best you can afford" thoughts. Or the missus will kill you.

I was too hot in my argos sleeping bag at the welsh AR, in the morning I had get out and lie on top of it, between the sleeping bag and the air bed was soaked with sweat where the sleeping bag had wicked it away, but the plastic airbed stopped it evaporating

You need to get your circulaton checked!

Do you suffer from cold hands on the bike?

Nope. And like I said, I don't normally suffer from the cold, I'm fairly hardy that way.

I was fine at the AR, not cold at all. Then again there may well have been a fair amount of antifreeze in my system lol

Yep, definitely a female thing. They are not wired up correctly, why should we expect their plumbing to work?

I always seem to get too hot in bed, but in a sleeping bag, I generally feel far too cold, unless I'm in my ex-army/marine sleeping bag, I have NEVER been cold in that bad boy.
