Re: Silverstone
I think they do run 20min sessions, just means a slightly longer wait between sessions and possibly slightly less track time overall. But it is a good price for Donny.

Re: Silverstone
I went to watch a 4 group day at donny. I wasn't impressed. It's imposed by the council rather than the TDO though so not slagging anyone off about that.
Less track time and red flags seem to hurt far more. I.e as soon as one is shown it generally means the end of the session and the can eat into a lot of the next. Silverstone I guess can be viewed as a bit soulless but I think there's bits of it that once you nail are exillerating. Copse and the new 1st corner being one. It's just so wide that you can really push yourself and bike and have the ability to get away with something you wouldn't at Cadwell or Mallory. That said I would like to do donny but only on a 3 group day which are normally the noisy days. Remembering that most are 98db quiet days.

How long were the sessions? If they are still 20 mins it won't be too bad. If they are any shorter by the time the tyres are warm it would be time to go back in

Silverstone is awesome, especially on a "big" bike. Donnington is just brilliant, on anything! If we do try and organize something at Donnington I'm in, but not the May one, I'm away that week. |

Re: Silverstone
Just remembered I booked 2 holidays in July so probably wont be able to afford a track day this expensive as well. Plus if I fall off I don't want to spend all holiday in a sling or something. Will look at August.
