Default Re: Heads up - Bonneville

im lucky enough to know dave branch and quite simply what he cant make from metal isnt worth making,he has a long history in drag racing going back to car engines in bikes and the many other weird and wonderfull things they did in the 7o's before noise regulations and the like put a bit of a damper on things.i think what the programme showed was where theres a will theres a way,and as dave said better to try and fail than never try at all,at the moment the bike is being rebuilt ready for next years attempt, the amount of work involved is huge for the gamble of it going down the salt once and blowing up again, close up the engineering is faultless especially as its home made as is the frame and the new bodywork, blokes a genius
