Zx14r shock
I just fitted the zx14r shock in to my sv650s k3. It was genuinely the easiest but of DIY I've ever done. I read a tip online of a man putting a broom handle through the hole where the pillion pegs are and some books stops the need for you jacking it up. I can confirm that it is a genius plan! The shock went in with no need to cut anything? There was loads of room between it and the battery box. Overall I'm buzzing. Just have to put my 10.0 k-tech springs in now

I'm 245 with no gear on. I always have a top box to that has my work bag in so I need it.

Re: Zx14r shock
Did you notice a change in rear suspension height? The previous owner installed a ZX14 shock on my bike but also used a lowering link to even it out based on his assumption. I still have the stock linkage and debated putting it back on. I wouldn't mind throwing more bias towards the front anyway.

Re: Zx14r shock
Check the end of the lower bolt isn't fouling the inside of the dog bones. I had to shave a couple of mm off mine.

Re: Zx14r shock
I ordered a M10 x 1.5 x 50mm bolt. The height feels the same. The front end is still bumpy but I notice a huge difference powering round corners. I am nervous normally cornering and this change definitely made me gain confidence the more I rode it
