Who would have thought that having COP28 in the UAE with the president also being chair of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company would produce statements like this: "there's no science behind the need to phase out fossil fuels" (to meet 1.5°C temp rise limit). https://edition.cnn.com/2023/12/03/c...out/index.html
