The joys of a spring ride!
Great ride out with Jan the day before yesterday. Headed out of Llanfyllin and round Llyn Efyrnwy, then the Llanymawddwy road to Bwlch y Groes. Stopped to gawp at the view down the valley in the Dinas Mawddwy direction. Then over the top and a right turn down towards Llangywer. The view as you come over the top is quite staggering, with the whole of Eryri laid out in front of you.
On towards Bala for a coffee, then Dolgellau and the George III at Llynpenmaen for a drink before heading home back down the A458. Warm sunshine most of the day except for a heavy shower at Rhydymaen on the road between Bala and Dolgellau. A cracking day out! |
