Thanks for the sympathy all. It is weird having lost both of the dynamic duo so close together, the vibe at home has changed completely with only the 'new' dog at home now.

Morning all. We've finally had some rain, and there's a fair bit more forecast from mid-day onwards. The water butts have water in them again and by the end of the day they should all be full. The garden looks so much happier too, all the onions and garlic have perked up, and it feels like everything else out there is stretching out for the water.

I'm going to put on the waterproofs and take Mabel for a good walk this morning and then I have some potting on of veg seedling to do this afternoon.

Hope all is ok for everyone else.

Morning people. Up early this morning as I have a Teams meeting at 10, so I'm going to get out with Mabel first. Wet and grey here so after a cup of tea it's on with the waterproofs and out for a wet walk.

Wet weather programme here today, too. The rain finally arrived. It's a shame as the cherry blossom trees around here have just hit their peak, they're absolutely stunning.

Had to run the gauntlet of the local retail park today. Stocking up on supplies for the Easter weekend, the trouble was everyone else had the same idea..

Morning all. Much brighter day here. The rain has stopped and there is some cloud but lots of blue sky. I'm currently sat on one end of a hill known locally as Jericho (no idea why), with a flask of tea and a great view. I'll head back home for breakfast shortly but will probably take the longer way home.

How is the day shaping up for everyone else?
