Default Finally got me bellypan!!

At last my K6 looks like I wanted it to

been waiting about 6 weeks for that!!

Heres a picture before..

Now all I need is a hugger, a double bubble and some kind of end can - although Im still not sure about chopping the link pipe. Think I might scour around for a 2nd hand link pipe, K3 onwards will fit wont it?

Nice, I have been toying with the idea of getting a belly pan but I am still not sure if they suit nekkid bikes.

You mean a full system rather than a link pipe, why don't you want to chop the pipework. If I can do it and not mess it up so can anyone.

IMHO the pointy SV looks a bit unfinished without one. Which one is that? It looks good. That's a lovely colour bike. I haven't seen an SV in that colour before. It looks bluer than the older silver bikes.

I added a belly pan to mine and it just finishes the pointys off... They look very naked without them bu look racey with one on.

Villlers - Looking good, a rear seat cowl would finish it off.

Do buy some autosol and touch up the downpipe every week. Nothing looks worse than a rusty downpipe on the sv's. And don't look after it and it'll go that way in 4 months.

Cheers lads!

The belly pan is straight from suzuki, fitted by the dealer today and I paid for it through my 0% finance deal! I hated riding the bike without it on, was strange having a new bike that I wasnt proud of and Id tell everyone I was waiting for the bellypan! The bike is a K6 and its colour is supposedly silver, I think its more a pearl metallic - or as one ******** at work called it 'Baby Blue'

As far as the exhaust goes I'd feel better if I had a second link pipe to butcher and stick an aftermarket can to. Im not after any performance gains, but 'you know the score - make that bike roar' lol.

Instigator, I just noticed how dull those pipes are, In my defence Ive covered 200 odd miles today in a mix of rain and wind on motorways and filthy back roads so they aint that bad. Either way though, point taken, Im not riding the CBR anymore, time to start taking care of it!

The rear cowl is next, I couldnt see them on the suzuki website, they are only sixty odd quid I think.

You know I think exactly the same thing. But I have to say, that bike looks better with than without.

I'm in a similar situation. I took delivery of by red 650 K6 on the 16th and am waiting for the lowers and a hugger in red. I have already fitted seat cowl, dark screen, small indicators (from Heine Gerricke - brighter than originals and NOT led),Evotech tail tidy and small number plate. The fairings and hugger are supposedly on back order. Just need a nice can and then it looks like I will be sorted....
