Have now had the opportunity to ride the VFR - well all of 4 miles.

No I didnt bin it, its just I only live 4 miles from work

My thoughts

1) Its lower than the SV

2) Its wider than the SV

3) Its heavier than the SV

4) Its not a fun as the SV

Its a great bike, the suspension does everything it should and much more than the SV, same for the brakes, but I felt like I was riding a sofa home.

More to come after I get a chance to ride it a bit more.....

UPDATE !!!!!!

The SV is due to come home on Monday (15th Dec)

So 11 months since the incident - give or take 5 days.

Glad to hear the red pointy club hasn't permanently lost a member!

Never made it down to Frith street this year Hope to correct that in '09

Well as many of the repairs that will be needed are to plastics, it may not be a Red pointy for long......

Well that was always threatened and I quite understand. But I'll know it's "True" colour and that's all that matters

Please don't make it a multicolored flashing LED pointy, unless you can do it in time for chrimbo...

Sorry I don't understand Bikeless for 11months and by your comment it is still not completely repaired. I read the first post as it had been with the repairers for 11months
