No drama - I think we may change the Boxhill point to something a little more convenient - maybe one of the laybys next to the A3/M25 as it seems a few will be flying past here. Any ideas???

Good idea - there's a layby on the Northbound A3 at the RHS Wisley turn off which we could use. It's about half a mile south of the M25 junction, at the junction with Wisley Lane. You can easily reach it from the Southbound carriageway by coming off at the next exit sliproad (for Ripley) and going round the roundabout to get onto the Northbound A3.

I'd post up a map with circles and diagrams and all that, except that I'm rubbish at that sort of thing!

PS. The fact that it is about 3 miles from my house has absolutely no bearing on my suggestion whatsoever...

I would prefer here [Link Removed as decision made to meet at layby] to save anyone having to take the A3 as far as Ripley & then doubling back. But if everyone not coming from Guildford is willing to do that, then there is a better layby on the A3 before the M25 here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=...717d8a58ec04d5

edit: having taken the time to do maps diagrams & wartime planning I have been beaten to it Sounds like my 2nd suggetion will be safer & better.

Or meet at Chez Fizzy pour prendre le petite dejeuner?

yes that's the one I was talking about. It's OK from both directions as the Ripley turn off is anly about half a mile away, and probably safer than stopping on the roadabout.

not sure about the brekkie option chez moi though - i've seen how much you lot eat!
