What exactly are you looking for Viney?

What did you think to the handling? Any idea if it had an aftermarket shock as without it the steering is slow cheers to the crappy stock shock

Cheers for that Tony. Nice to know im not a complete nobber

A bike that lives up to the hype thats all. Handling, ok i suppose, yes it had an aftermaket shock etc. It had a fair few pennies thrown at at. I just felt it lacked something. I also had the same feeling on the Tuono. Must just be an aprillia thing

An SV of course, and lots of bikes. The only bike that i have ridden that went beyond what i was expecting was the new 1050 tiger. Now thats a serious engine. More flexible than anything i have ridden to date.

One of the main brands i havent rideen is a Kwak. Due to the reason there isnt a dealer near me.

But most hondas, suzukis, all the aprilia range, duc's, a benelli tnt, BMW, peugeot! so a few. If its what you like then great, but i just didnt see what the fuss was about. I liked the Milie a bit more but still wasnt sold.

What i would like is an SP2. Plain and simple, that along with a Tiger1050 i would be a happy man.

I guess it goes to show that different people do like different bikes.

So I take it you have tried the SP2?

What you think to SS600's then?

Okay, now I know you must have been riding like an old woman. The Tuono is a mental bike. You're quote about the jacket potatoe made me creae up. Good work!

This whole thread is pointless anyway. Hornet's are the way forward.

I rode an SP1. Far to extreme for the road, but loved every monute of it. A bike that over exceeded my expectation.

SS600's Depends on what model. They matched what i expected them. They are good at what they do. Not much between them at all. All quick and agile once you learn how to ride them (= Thrash them). I liked the R6, its just to darn small,

Agreed, the Hornet is still a fantastic bike and i have always said, if i had ridden a hornet before buying the SV, i probably would have had a Hornet. The new one is brilliant (I did own a hornet for 3 months, but sold it as it wasnt mine to keep...long story)

Dont get me wrong, the tuono is mental, but i was knackered after about 30 mins on it. It lived up to the hype.
