Nahhhhh it spits far too much raw fuel out of the exhaust to be an injected motor

The SV is probably a much lighter bike than the 500s you were using on your DAS (what was the bike you used btw?)

If there's a camber just lean the bike very slightly towards the highest side. Try to read the road if you can.. if there's a camber to one side then try stopping near the middle of the road. Nobody will know it's you if you're wearing your tinted visor
I was initially worried about the weight (coming from a 50cc bike and then my mates 125 I used for the test), but I actually find it easier to ride at slow speeds as it's much more stable.

Most importantly, go at your own pace!! and stay within your comfort zone while you're getting used it
Oh yeah and ENJOY YOURSELF!!

Hi Kate

I'm a bit confused about which licence you took? If you passed on a 500 machine, did you do DAS and so have a full licence or did you take a restricted test (A2) as in the OP?

As far as being intimidated by the weight, just get out and practice. Plenty of slim girlies on here can handle them, I'm sure you can to.

well... I started on the DAS, did a few days on the 500, fell off twice, lost all confidence so dropped down to the 125. So i am restricted for 2 years.

Cool! You should look at foxy's sexy little 250 if you not sure about an SV, light and PDQ!

OHH! and congrats BTW, think I already said it earlier in the thread, but I'll say it again!
