R. Eh, no your worships.
Q. Tell me officer, did you maintain a constant view of this vehicle as it drove away from you at 124mph whilst you reversed you police car on the observation post and then moved out into the carriageway.
R. Eh, no your worships.
Q. Tell me officer, just how long did it take you to go from a standing start at the side of the road to catch up with this car that was travelling at 124mph.
R. Eh, quite a few miles your worships.
Q. Tell me officer, is it right that when you caught up with my client he was driving his silver VW Lupo at 70mph in lane one.
R. Eh, yes that's right.
Q. So tell me officer, how do you intend to show this court that the car you recorded at 124mph was the same car my client was driving.
R. Eh, I can't your worships......
nevermind the guy admitting it and the film evidence of the car being recorded and then being stopped, he got a ban anyway which is just deserts really as 124mph in that thing is not a good idea!! imagine how sketchy it would feel!

There are a few rules about questioning suspects as well.....like cautioning them and giving them their rights before you try and get them to incriminate themselves.

As for the film, could you identify the car from the shot of it flashing past?

More likely to be playing up to the cameras, which is par for te course with all the so-called ' reality ' shows!
