Yeh apparently the diving in and splashing about in the warm water softened the wax and me trying to get the water out ended up pushig it far in and compacting it.
I do wonder if wearing ear plugs adds to the problem by always pushing wahtever wax is in there further back in and not letting it out. Ive never suffered from overly waxy ears or anything so there must be a good reason for it all being in there i guess. i'll have to ask the specialist and see what they say i guess. Sorry for the slight derail btw Shona.
