TAFFIA pub meet.. wed oct 7th

going through Machen at 9pm on the SV was scary. It was like "I'd never thought i'd say this but i can't wait for rhiwderin.

Those roads are treacherous enough during the day (hate riding them as you can come around a bend to find the bus is taking a racing line coming through the other way) never mind the dark, rainy winter evening when I accidentally discovered them trying to find a quicker way from missus' parents in Llanishen without going over the mountain the usual way.

I can't even wrap my head around it, did they somehow end up in Tongwynlas without going on the A470?

There is, the Maenllwyd or something I think it's called. Never been there.

I said, I do recognise this, got into Caerphilly with the castle on the right, remembered where a few things were, but watched the sat nav in a stupid error of judgement and it all went wrong from there. Think I'd have been fine in teh daytime.

The Maenllwydd is a very nice pub, the meals are amazing amd very filling.

I agree with you on those lanes though.

I been down them a few times and they are not great during the day, so, respect for doing them in the dark you crazy cannuk

If they ended up in ton gwynlais they went down some even smaller lanes than the rudry route !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
