well that's just it diz - I can't let her get away now I've found her lol...

We did about 30-40 mins last night and she said she could feel her bum starting to go a bit numb/achey. Tempted to try and find some gel inserts and try recovering the seat maybe?

it's all part of the case to get her on her own two wheels though

just working out how much of it me & the missus will be doing as she's only got about 20 miles under her pillion belt so a bit rideout around the highlands could be a bit much for her straight off the bat

thanks in advance

It's getting stupid now. The route could be planned in 15 minutes flat on paper and 2 days to do a trial run.

3 weeks indeed any particular reason you need to know the route NOW?

No it isn't.

Surely Q will post the route when everything is ready/planned.

Yes I do actually. I'm on call and I need to know where I'll be in case I have to respond to a call.

Yes it is actually. Northy kept everyone in the loop at the past rideouts. My annual rideout was arranged on day one and everybody knew the route, stops accommodation.

Is there particular any reason it's being kept a secret???

was goin to say the same thing.. we use cycling shorts.. in fact my pair were bought in inverness at last years GM.

plus paul if she aint got a tribo seat for the pillion - get one.. she will be gripping her bum cheeks to stay on.. AND buy some love handles for her to hold on to.. lot more relaxed then..

about £30 for the two and about £15 for the cycling shorts .. good investment if it makes her feel comfier and more comfident.. AND enjoys it.

Surely you don't mean the last years GM.
Your rideout is a lot sompler isn't it? Get to Aviemore via Glenshee and Lecht road. You don't have 50 people to think about.
