Nah mate, thats not active imagination, that is reality of being in a job like this. It's unfortunately not just cops that face it but that is a whoooooole other thread.

Lets be fair, everyone in life has a bit of 'downtime' when they should actually be working. If you didn't you would be a soul-less person with the personality of a card board box.

I think they were just having a bit of a laugh.. the stupid thing is they let it be filmed and that let their professionalism be questioned and the uniform called into disrepute.

Somewhere I have pics and vid (taken at the Nottingham Goose Fair during my first visit to England) of cops taking a time out to ride the bumper cars. I thought it was cool -the RCMP take themselves way too seriously to do something like that.
