It was a unmarked golf that got him, lurking in a lay-by. I was only about 200m behind and keeping pace.

Mr bobby even said, we know you weren't dangerouse or careless, just a case of exceeding the limit, can't really argue about that, still what's done is done. can't believe tim set off then went home wuss, best day out on the bike so far, bring on the AR

So in summary - 1 gated road (that's probably a no-no) and a phase of really bad rain means changes to the first phase. We also need lead weights to hold the empty Raptor down after lunch

If the weather is good it'll be a pretty good day, but we have an option for poorer weather for the final leg.

Just tie balloons to it, that way we can use that wind and blow me back down the hill I'd perhaps make it down far quicker, going across country! Although Puny stopped to see if I was ok, even he had to put both feet down to hold on, the pair of us were side by side in one hell of a gust, thankfully I had a nice grass verge to land on....on the wrong side of the road.

I was thinking last night, that on filling in Keighley and getting right over the otherside after lunch on empty, wouldn't be the same on the day. I'd have filled up in Settle, having a lot more petrol in there and not empty at that point.....so how far back to site....next challenge can we do it!

I do think that perhaps although a gorgeous place for lunch, would there be enough room for us on a Saturday? There was just enough room for us on the flat bit, where else would there be to park? Maybe stopping and staying in the giant co-op before would be more suitable?

That's a typical Sunday. If there's anything else on you can fill it with another 20 cars easy so I'm not sure its suitable tbh. Just my 2p

Ah dizzy. I popped an extra £3 In at settle !
