whats the nicest ride down to poole from crewkerne area?
am new to area? via dorchester and wareham? any speed traps or cameras to watch out for?

Yup, it was a very cold ride home in my leathers. Just thawing out now.

A lot of bikes there though, well worth the rideout. Oh and SH thought he knew a cow called Daisy in a field on a hairpin bend

Thats the way I normally go, down to Dorchester A37 ( watch for speed camera van hiding in and around the Evershot turn off ) then A35 along the Puddletown bypass, then onto Poole.

Its not the most exciting ride, but it gets you down there quickly and in the summer thats important otherwise you have to park in the overflow carpark which means you have to walk back to the quay.

You could go to Sherborne and then take that road down to Dorchester which is a bit more fun. I sometimes come back that way.

It was bl00dy cold down there - nice and warm in the cage on the way home though

Yer I over took him at 138 so Scoob's told me...

Wasn't that cold, just turned me heated grips on. At one point I had to take my hands off as it was getting to hot.
