"Fresh tuna is an oily fish but canned tuna doesn't count as oily. This is because when it's canned these fats are reduced to levels similar to white fish. So, canned tuna is a healthy choice for most people, but it doesn't have the same benefits as eating oily fish."

Well day 1 completed without a cheat. I could hear the call of the drinkies cabinet and the new bottle of Bowmore 21 year old shouting my name. But I resisted. No after dinner Stilton. Everything recorded for analyse by the dust demon.

I even ate a banana yesterday. The first piece of fruit I have eaten in about 20 years.

Anyone know how long it should take to loose about 4 stone. Whoops just realised that if I actually loose all of that I will have to buy new leathers anyway.

thats my problem as well, not overweight as such (maybe half a stone) but what weight I have seems to have shifted from my chest to my waist.

Need to do some excercise to get the spare tyre back where it belongs

Do be careful with 'low fat' items, quite often if you look on the back they just have more carbs ... its always interesting to look on the back of items at the nutrition information and actually see what the difference is.

I'll give you an example of this 'low fat' nothing else maters stupidity ... there is this fat-lass at work ... not trying to be rude, but she is truly fat, she must be 20stone and 5'4. Nice girl, but she has been having half ar5ed attempts at loosing weight for years ... to no great effect ...

It made me chuckle to myself one day ... she was telling me that she was trying hard again 'Good for her' I said … then almost in the same action she opened up a bag of Harribo ... ... she could see the look on my face as she opened it … and she then went on to say “It’s ok, they are zero fat” …. Yes love but they are 100% sugar!! … she isn’t very bright - bless her!!
