Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I am certain that it isn't the award you were looking for but you have definitely won Gripe of the Day. Congratulations
I hope things get (much) better.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
+ Just had a morning of death threats from someone on FB because I wouldn't sell him a bike for a low price. He's sending me screen grabs of my profile pics etc.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
F*cking hell, Adam, that's awful. Very sorry to hear all that.
Edited to add that even if you do get a NIP for a red light offence - which hopefully is unlikely as most cameras are not armed until 0.5 seconds AFTER the red light is displayed - you should get offered a course & fine, which does not need to be declared to insurers as it isn't a conviction. Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I had a course last year for 36 in a 30 zone. I don't think you get a second offer, even if it's for a different offence.
+ I'm really hoping it was someone else behind me in my blind spot that it flashed. I felt sure I was so far over the junction on amber. It's huge junction though coming out of Bristol to the M32.

I'm not sure he's the sort of person who has an employer.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Hope things improve for you Adam. The shocking lack of police resources is one reason why I don't like leaving the Triumph anywhere if I'm out and our new electric bicycles even more so.

'How's that for a Sunday morning rant.' Why can't they do anything with these feral scum ? Hope things improve anyway.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Bloody hell Adam, that is the 5h1te week to end all 5h1te weeks. A fully justified rant I'd say. I really hope things turn round for you pretty damn quickly. If you need to escape for a couple of days you're welcome to head up this way.
Could you report the haemorrhoid head making threats to the police (I know, I know...)? |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Putin wants the demilitarisation of Ukraine as a condition of ending the war against Ukraine. So he can just walk into Ukraine without any resistance !!! He also talks about the West's propaganda which he describes as coming from 'the empire of lies '. Does he really believe these things - doesn't he see that most of the world has condemned his invasion of Ukraine - is he deranged ? Can't the Russian people see that he is lying and he always turns the truth around so it appears he is the victim ?
