Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Nothing is ever easy on cars is it?
Just trying to take off my broken wing mirror to either repair it or put the new one on. The main electrical connector is buried behind the main door card, even though there's a couple of easy remove covers for the mirror retaining screws! Then one of the screws has fallen down into the void behind the door card as well.

Coil pack fitted, misfire gone away.
2 teeth extracted. If I had tooth ache last week, boy does it hurt where there are no teeth. but judging by his struggle, heaving, pushing, pulling, changing to different tools and heaving again, then digging out for the pieces of snapped root, there is probably one hell of a lot of trauma to the gum.

Yeah, such a freak accident really and a real shame!
I wonder if this will have an impact on the sport in terms of safety or not, not knowing how the accident happened what position was he playing when it took place? Would head protection have been a help?

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
He was wearing a helmet. Thousands of balls are bowled every day, Phil turned his head as he went to hit the ball and the ball hit him on the neck and ruptured an artery, it bled into his brain. A one in a million chance of it happening. If his head had been a degree to the left or right, the ball a millimeter higher or lower the chances are he'd have had a nasty bruise and a bit of a headache. That's what makes it so hard to take.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Aren't Clio's rubbish. I think I've done nearly every common problem mentioned on the forum. The wiper washer pump repair was best because that was free. My reluctor rings have just arrived so that is next and got to be done before Feb. Did the coil pack about two years ago and been ok. Do you do your own timing beltTim ?

Gripe today: Day off work and the roads are wet through. Accuweather gave a good forecast. Disappointed!
