I will be heading down the M1/ A42/ M42 ti get to Basset Pole if anyone wants to link up on the way down?

I think thatsa the route i will be taking anyway, will double check.

I will be joining the M1 at junction 27 unless i figure out a better way.

You could cut across to the A38 and meet the others at Markeaton Island MacDonalds.

Yep, DB's right, that will be quicker than M42. Markeaton island is just north of Derby, next roundabout after A6 junction. Look for Esso filling station and McDonalds behind it. We should set off from there at about 09:15.
