Depending on what weather forecast you look at we are getting anything from heavy rain, to a perfect summer day.
I'm off for a bit of a shakedown to make sure all is in order (including my riding skill. )

Was going to go A1 or A10, but no biggie to detour to meet you on the M11 @ Stansted, the services make it a good choice as its easier to wait there than the side of some road.

Google maps then says to head up the M11 some more then a slight double back on ourselves - I vote to go that way, as while not as fun as A roads, will get us there quickest, and probably freshest for the actual ride.

How about we meet @ the services at 8?

The trip from Stansted to Grafham should only take about an hour, so we will then have an hour to rest/meet people/have breakfast.

Sound good?

Soulkiss - sounds good to me, although it is possible to join the A10 easily from there is you keep going along the A120 for a bit.

8 am ok but gonna be cold at that time of day

Not with thermals, leathers and textiles it wont :P

My thoughts are to just get there - but can bring the satnav and see if it has any interesting suggestions.

Hope you can make it Mike, even if your bike is too yellow

Bugger, my total miles to hunny is 158, the wrong side of my tank range, even if I fill up with Skip. So I'll fill up in St Neots Skip, so I can make it to Hunny and a bit of the way back, if thats ok?

It looks like I probably wont be able to make this after all - certainly at least not an early start.

I may be able to meet you at Hunstanton later, but we'll have to see.

Next time
