The car had overcooked the bend coming the other way. When I past him he was a foot over the white line and I only just got my shoulder out of the way.

Well here`s to hoping you are all not too traumatised by it all , we all know how you re-live these things . Pick yerself up , learn from it if possible and do us all proud by getting back on a bike

Sorry about the bike but at least you are in one piece.

Glad your still with us TLW, hope you heal soon, the insurance pay out quickly and the bike is easy enough to rebuild for the track.

Sorry for your poor bike, it looks trashed after seeing the pics further in the thread, I'd say insurers have written off a bike for less damage.
Poor you, but very lucky indeed. SORRY for not reading yesterday, but I've been working
