Fankoo guys. Assessment day was today but I was so ill yesterday I had mine yesterday incase I didnt go in today. My tutor didnt want me to go back to shift and miss the assessment or be ill for next weeks Pursuit part so told me to have today off. I felt OK so went in ..... so glad did my first blue light run in an unmarked vehicle.

Hilarious ! Noone sees you, they can hear sirens but they not got a clue where it coming from, a white Skoda behind them could not possibly be making a nee naahh sound surely ! he he he what a laff

I have had them not move in a marked vehicle, but to be on someones tail for a good 5 mins +, moving from one side of the lane to the other and beeping the horn is what I am on about. I had 4 sirens to go through to the point I was bored of them. When I finally overtook they looked at me as if to say I was out of order. If I was not on driving course I would have had them for due care. They could not have looked in the mirror once.

This was one occasion of loads, even had a 'scream' moment. Drive through set of traffic lights on red on island. A woman driving a car oncommin slammed on her brakes, skidded with her gob wide open. All 4 of us in the car only saw a black hole and it remained open til we had gone out of sight ..... t'was hilarious .... ffs good job we didn't tak her from behind

Yeah, I've done same in unmarked too, half the time we get left with unmarked vehicles cos marked cars keep dying and going to heaven!!!

It really is ridiculous how some people don't hear sirens or see lights! If they can't see and hear them, then how can they possibly be responding correctly to hazards on the road!
