Ah!! Now I have a tricky situation. That weekend is good for me cos I never take any work on during it however the reason I don't take any bookings is cos its my boys birthday on 8th August!!! Ahhhhhh .....

Monkey Bums!!! Bikes or children??? I knew this day would come. Maybe I could convince my Ex-hubby to take the children away for a holiday/birthday treat, then he will never know I chose the bike!!!! Muuuuahahahahaha........

Organinse a big party for one of the week nights or the weekend before/after and just bring the kids with you. You won't be the only one chick. Means one of you can't make the rideout, but there's LOADS to do in the area.

Or, go with your idea and not have to worry at all

And yes, Hovis was one of a kind and he'd have been one of the first to welcome you to the forum and he would have had at least one or two posts per page on here by now

Think I will offer the weekend to my Ex. He will be in Singapore for 3 months next year but will back before August and usually takes a week off for son's birthday. I think it would be nice for him to have him for his birthday week and then plan a party on Monday 9th ??
